The conveyor track is a very important integral part of any conveyor assembly. When the track wears thin on the lead edge it can more often than not go through the chain and jam the belt up solid. Of course this only happens when it is fully loaded 9 times out of 10! Regular checking of your tracks- especially the sand side can help avoid a lot of headaches. Top tip; the next time you replace your tracks make a small hole in the conveyor cavity wall just by the front most track bracket- this will enable you to monitor wear and pre-empt a repair.
